As part of the 2025 Civil Service Week Celebration, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs (MLGCRA) once again led by example by participating in a Clean-up Exercise within the Ministry’s premises and immediate surroundings.

The exercise, which took place in a spirit of unity and civic duty, was spearheaded by the Ministry’s Chief Director, Mr. Amin Abdul-Rahaman, and drew active participation from staff across all directorates and units.

In a show of solidarity and inter-ministerial support, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, Chief Director at the Office of the Head of Civil Service, joined the team on the grounds and lent his hand to the cleaning effort. His presence underscored the importance of leadership by example and reaffirmed the shared responsibility of civil servants in advancing cleanliness and order in the public service space.

The Clean-up Exercise not only highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to promoting environmental sanitation and hygiene but also reinforced its internal culture of discipline, teamwork, and proactive service delivery.

MLGCRA continues to champion practical actions that support national development—beginning right from its doorstep.
